Rylea Pearl

I'm not going to say much because I think the pictures speak for themselves. This is the story in photos of the day our precious Rylea Pearl, our gift from God, entered the world and changed our lives forever.

41 weeks

41 weeks. I sort of hoped we wouldn't get this far but it looks like the Lord has other plans for our sweet baby girl. We're very ready to meet our little peanut and would love for her to arrive sooner than later but in the mean time we're doing our best to enjoy this time of waiting and trying to stay busy to pass the time. I have to chuckle at that a little since very soon I will not have to TRY to stay busy, that'll happen all on it's own! Here's a tiny bit of what I/we have been up to lately.

I've been baking! The freezer is filled with goodies so we don't starve or have to live off
Reece's Mac n' Cheese after baby arrives.

We had a very relaxing afternoon by the Pier on the opposite side of
Kaneohe Bay. So much delicious, greasy food!

Yogurt Mama has been a favorite week night treat for us lately. Can you guess who's bowl is who's?

Picnic dinner by the base marina.

I've spent a bunch of time lately sewing lots of little headbands! These are a few I made for my new niece who
just happened to make her appearance into the world today!
Happy Birthday to sweet Maggie Rae…we can't wait to meet you!

I've also been spending lots of time at the beach/pool, walking and hanging out with friends but haven't been great about taking pictures :)

Well, hopefully the next post will include many pics of baby Lodder!

Many Blessings

Although our little one isn't here yet she's already been very, VERY spoiled! And this soon to be momma has also been spoiled :) We've been very blessed by all of our family and friends who have helped us prepare for our baby girl with many clothes, toys, fuzzy blankies, books, diapers, shoes, hair accessories, hygiene items…I could go on and on! Like I said, so spoiled and so BLESSED!

Here are a few snaps from a shower that was hosted by some of my church friends! These ladies did an amazing job hosting and I'm so thankful for their friendship.

The food spread was AMAZING, delicious and full of PINK!

Opening up all our gifts!

So many treats! Yum!

More gift opening and many gushy "oh it's SO cute" faces :)

We were also very blessed today as Reece was promoted to the rank of Sergeant! Yay! Here is a pic from this morning's promotion formation.

Why so serious Reece? ;)
